Hence concerns about safety aspects become more crucial and the safety aspects such as protection against electric shock, protection against thermal effect and protection against fire due to arcing, protection against over current and fault current, and protection against voltage disturbance and measures against electromagnetic influences are to be taken into account in the works of Internal EI.

The report may be sent by scanned email at email lD secm@nic.in within-30 days of the issue of this office memorandum. Designated officers are requested to write their name, designation, department, full detailed postal address, landline number, email lD, and mobile number in the report. ln case, no report is received within 30 days of the issue of this OM, it will be presumed that nothing adverse is on record.

The respective SDGs/ADGs/CEs are requested to direct the officers under their Jurisdiction to actively use the utility and participants in all other related pieces of training for these Processes.

The first installment of such advance shall be released by the Engineer-in-charge to the contractor on a request made by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge on this behalf. The second and subsequent installments shall be released by the Engineer-in-Charge only after the contractor furnishes proof of the satisfactory utilization of the earlier installment(s) to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
