Following modifications are made in the rule for inspection Teams in "Rules for Enlistment of Contractors in CPWD"- 2O17 ,2079 & 2020

DG CPWD has approved the Rules for Enlistment of contractors in CPWD, 2020. These rules shall come into force with effect from 17.o8.2o20. Book ER-2020 is available with Jain Book Agency @Rs. 200.00 each. ER 2020 rules are also available in the CPWD website in CPWD Publications.

The Contractor shall mean the individual, firm, or company, whether incorporated or not, undertaking the works and shall include the legal personal representative of such individual or the persons composing such firm or company, or the successors of such firm or company and the permitted assignees of such individual, firm or company.

In case the lowest tendered amount (worked out on the basis of the quoted rate of Individual items) of two or more contractors is the same, then such lowest contractors may be asked to submit a sealed revised offer quoting a rate of each item of the schedule of quantity for all sub-sections/subheads as the case may be, but the revised quoted rate of each item of schedule of quantity for all sub-sections/subheads should not be higher than their respective original rate quoted already at the time of submission of tender. The lowest tender shall be decided on the basis of a revised offer.
