All Technical Division ROs & PDs are hereby directed to follow the above process for approval of alignment and Land Acquisition Plan (LAP), including LA Cost, for a Project by LAC.

As regards the Projects appraised & approved by MoRT&H like BOT (Toll) [involving VGF] / Annuity /HAM/Projects of Bharatmala and Projects under NH (o), the Proposals to approve Revised capital cost be sent to MoRT&H, except in those cases where the revised capital cost is within the sanctioned projects cost.

The consent of the contractor may be obtained on the above schedule before releasing the payments to the Member (s) as the expenses are to be shared equally by the Parties.

If any case is not meeting the above requirements, the same shall be referred to Technical Division of HQ for approval of Competent Authority (EC) duly giving reasons, identifying lapses and fixing responsibility.

Based on the recent experience and lessons learnt during the recent events of Inauguration/foundation Stone laying, some additional guidelines as addendum to the existing guidelines are enclosed herewith for compliance by all Concerned.
