It is hereby clarified that upon 100% equity divestment the outgoing promoter shall not have residual rights over the accrued claims and the same shall vest with the new promoter, further to verify all the works in scope are completed & outstanding issues (like vigilance compliance, maintenance issues, etc.)

Therefore, considering the road/railways tunnels at par with the underground mining projects, it is to clarify that construction of road/railways tunnels in the forest area may be treated at par with the underground mining project for the purpose of applicability of compensatory afforestation.
