The amendments in the relevant clause of SBD are attached as Annexure. These amendments shall always be included in the tender/bid documents.

In view of the above, you are kindly requested to ensure that the annual action plan for SQM inspections is formulated to ensure that the requisite number of inspections are carried out by SQMs. These targets will also be rigorously monitored by NRIDA at frequent intervals.

Further States are advised to issue infrastructures to the concerned officers, indicating that these directions/guidelines for paneled cement concrete pavement construction under PMGSY shall be strictly followed. It is suggested that these instructions related to cutting and strength testing be communicated to each officer through a dedicated meeting/workshop so that CC pavement is constructed with requisite quality.

NQMs are aware that due to the large volume of inspection reports, it may not be possible for NRIDA to scrutinize all hard copies of the reports submitted by them. Efforts are being made to get reports scrutinized through It tools based on e-form. NRIDA has also identified a few technical experts for scrutiny of inspection reports submitted by NQMs.
