यह नियमावली ‘‘बिहार नगर विकास एंव आवास विभाग अवर अभियंत्रण (असैनिक) संवर्ग भर्ती (संशोधन) नियमावली 2018‘‘ कही जा सकेगी।

यह नियमावली बिहार भू-सम्पदा (विनियमन और विकास) नियमावली, 2017 कही जायेगी। इसमें प्रयोग किए गए शब्द और पद जो इन नियमों में परिभाषित नहीं किए गए परन्तु अधिनियमों में परिभाषित किए गए है, के वही अर्थ होगे जो उनके अधिनियम में है।

इस नीति में निम्नलिखित शब्दावली से वही अभिप्रेत होंगे जो उनके लिए नीचे परिभाषित है। वशर्ते संदर्भ में अन्यथा अपेक्षित न हो:-‘‘किफ़ायती आवास परियोजना’’ से अभिप्रेत होगा ऐसी आवास परियोजनाएॅ जहां कम-से-कम 35 प्रतिशत आवासों का निर्माण आर्थिक तौर पर कमजोर वर्गों (ई-डब्लू.एस.) के लिए किया जाता हो;‘‘किफ़ायती आवास इकाई’’ से अभिप्रेत होगा मात्र आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर (ई.डब्लू.एस.) और निम्न आय समूह (एल0आई0जी0) के लिए आवास इकाई;

An Act to establish the Real Estate Regulatory Authority for regulation and promotion of the real estate sector and to ensure the sale of plots, apartments, or buildings, as the case may be, or the sale of real estate projects, in an efficient and transparent manner and to protect the interest of consumers in the real estate sector and to establish an adjudicating mechanism for speedy dispute redressal and also to establish the Appellate Tribunal to hear appeals from the decisions, directions or orders of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and the adjudicating officer and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

"Act" means the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Act 2012; "Advertising Sign" means any Surface or Structure with Characters, letters or illustrations applied thereto and displayed in any manner whatsoever outdoors for the purpose of advertising or giving information or to attract the Public to any Place, Person, Public Performation, Article or merchandise and which surface or structure is attached to, forms part of, or is connected with any building, or is fixed to the ground or to any in or over any water body included in the Jurisdiction of the Authority.
