The duties & responsibilities of the liaison officers are prescribed in Dopt Om No. DoPT. 1670494514912 dated 08.12.2022, (Copy enclosed) and other related instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.

The facilities of messing allowance and per diem allowance shall also be allowed to natives of Kashmir valley in terms of the Kashmir Valley Package.

As earlier, the duties of Standing Cost Committees (SCC) shall be performed by the respective PATSCs.

Further, PIU shall mandatorily enter all the requisite data on the data lake module (to be developed by IT Division, HQ in the next fortnight) i.e., recommendation of Safety Committee, copy of the estimate, location details, color photographs of accidental spot, approval letter, etc. The Datelake module will generate a unique ID after entering the requisite data on the module for each and every accidental spot. No payment will be permissible without the said unique ID.
